  • Prime Video’s Panchayat Season Four Goes On Floor

    The series is set to air in 2026 on Prime Video

    Prime Video’s award-winning and critically acclaimed show Panchayat is set to return with its fourth season. The third season of Panchayat aired just a few months ago on Prime Video. The series received critical acclaim and became the most-watched digital show and web series. Now the makers have confirmed that they are shooting for the fourth season of the show.

    According to the reports, the makers of Panchayat have begin the shooting for their show on 25th October 2024. All its existing cast will reprise their roles. The fourth season is going to be bigger and more exciting. The makers have already planned the fifth season of the show too.

    Panchayat is the only show that one can watch with his entire family. Be it children or parents, Panchayat is a complete family show.. And this is what has worked for the makers till now. Panchayat is a drama show but it fruitfully succeeds in carrying excellent humor, beautiful emotions, and an amazing friendship between everyone. The rivalry between Bhushan and everyone is epic to watch.

    The first season of Panchayat aired in 2020. The series aired with eight episodes. According to Neena Gupta, in an interview, she revealed that she was nervous and scared thinking about the insight of the audience regarding their show.

    Neena Gupta believed that the first episode of the show was slightly slow and viewers would stop watching the series after watching the first episode. But as the show progressed, Panchayat picked up the pace from the second episode and ended up becoming one of the most successful shows of 2020. The second season aired in 2022 while the third season aired in 2024.

    Panchayat features Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, Secretary, Raghubir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey, Pradhanji, Neena Gupta as Manju Devi Dubey, Pradhan, Chandan Roy as Vikas Shukla, Assistant, Faisal Malik as Prahlad, Assistant and Durgesh Kumar as Bhushan among others.

    Over the years Panchayat has gained a cult fan following in India and is one of the most loved shows. The show has received widespread success in several foreign countries. The show is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra.

    Inside Edge is the first-ever web series offered by Prime Video in India. Inside Edge revolves around a T-20 format cricket league set in India. Inside Edge had opened to positive response and was nominated for Best Drama at the 46th International Emmy Awards. The first season was released in 2017 followed by two more seasons released in 2019 and 2021. The show might return with the fourth season.
