Deepika recently had a couple of big releases such as Kalki 2898 AD, Pathaan, FR, and Jawan. All films have had registered good business at the box office. Though Deepika Padukone is pregnant and going to take a long leave, she has a solid film lineup to follow with a film with Rohit Shetty and Kalki 2898 AD Part 2. Whereas Alia had some major hits like RRR, Brahmastra, Gangubai Kathaiwadi, and Rocky Rani Ki Prem Kahani in the past few years. Alia too has a brilliant film lineup to follow with Jigra, Alpha, and L and W.

    Besides, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, there is only one Bollywood actress Kiara Advani who has a promising film lineup to follow.

    Kiara Advani made her film debut in 2014 film Fugly. While her debut film failed to give her any recognition, it was her second film released in 2016 that provided her extensive popularity. In 2016, she was featured as the wife of MS Dhoni in his biographical film titled MS Dhoni The Untold Story. The film was a major commercial success. Post the success of MS Dhoni’s The Untold Story, Kiara was signed opposite Mahesh Babu in the Telugu hit drama film Bharat Ane Nenu.

    In 2019, Kiara Advani tasted her career’s biggest success by featuring opposite Shahid Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Kabir Singh. Kabir Singh opened to a blockbuster response and is one of the highest-grossing films of 2019. It is still the highest-grossing film for Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani as well. In the same year, Kiara Advani had another big release ‘Good News’ that became a blockbuster at the box office.     In 2022, Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan featured in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.     This one is a very big film. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s December 2023 release Animal prompted mayhem in the country. The film achieved extraordinary numbers at the box office and formed ridiculous hype. Though the lead actor Ranbir Kapoor’s performance and acting were highly celebrated.

    The film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandhanna, Tripti Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Shakti Kapoor among others. The film was criticized for its runtime but overall audience enjoyed the film in large numbers. A small glimpse of Hrithik Roshan from W2 was shown in the post-credit scenes of T3. The small glimpse generated huge hype for W2 which is slated to release in 2025.

However, the film won’t be released anytime soon. The scientific film has received international critical acclaim and is called a landmark of Indian Cinema.

    If the box office is concerned, Kalki 2898 AD has already grossed over 600 crores globally in five days and is a huge success in the making. By the end of its theatrical run, Kalki 2898 AD will emerge as one of the highest-grossing films in India. Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Hassan.     Pathaan 2

    Following the success of Pathaan, YRF has sped up the process of producing and releasing their films. But now since Pathaan in 2023, YRF has folded the resources and has planned several films from its Universe.     Singham Again

    Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again could be the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2024. The film is all set to release in November 2024. This is the fifth film from Rohit Shetty’s Universe. Earlier films are Singham (2011), Singham Return (2014), Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021). Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn as Singham and Kareena Kapoor Khan as his wife.

    The film has special appearances from Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi.     When it releases, T vs P could emerge as the highest-grossing film in India. T Vs P is YRF head Aditya Chopra’s dream project. The film will star two real-life good friends and two of India’s biggest movie stars Shahrukh Khan as Pathaan and Salman Khan as T in the leads.

    This film from YRF’s Universe, T Vs P will be the biggest Indian film ever with Salman and Shahrukh against each other. Director of W1 (2019) and Pathaan (2023), Sidharth Anand will direct T vs P.

    However, the film will take several years since YRF is currently producing other films from its Universe. The film generally received positive reviews and grossed over 800 crores globally. It was the fourth film of Prabhas to collect more than 100 crores on day one of its release. Earning over 100+ crores on the opening day of the film release is a dream of every actor. But doing it regularly is extraordinary work. Prabhas had done it five times. Released in 2017, Jab Harry Met Sejal received highly negative reviews and emerged as a box office flop. Shahrukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali were highly criticized for doing the film.

    Post Jab Harry Met Sejal, Shahrukh Khan starred in Anand L Rai’s Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Zero was one of the most anticipated films of 2018. The film also starred Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor, Kajol, Sridevi, Juhi Chawla, and Alia Bhatt in guest appearances. Upon its release, Zero opened to highly negative reviews and was declared a box office flop.

    In the same year, in September, Shahrukh Khan played the lead in the film Jawan alongside, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone (special appearance). Jawan was another high-octane epic film by Shahrukh Khan after Pathaan. The film is directed by Atlee. Upon its release, Jawan was declared a blockbuster on the first day itself. The film broke several box office records to emerge as a major commercially successful film. The film shattered all the records created by Pathaan and registered new box office records that are perhaps difficult for any other film to break anytime soon. Like Pathaan, Jawan too grossed over 1000+ crores at the box office.

    With Pathaan and Jawan, Shahrukh Khan made the biggest comeback in the history of Indian Cinema. He was the most popular star in India throughout the year. In December 2023 he had his final and third release of the year with Rajkumar Hirani. The actor acted in Rajkumar Hirani’s drama film Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu, Boman Hirani, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, and Vicky Kaushal (special appearance). Dunki, however, received mixed reviews and did not perform like Pathaan and Jawan. But the film was still commercially successful for the makers.

    Following a five-year hiatus, Shahrukh Khan had three major commercial hits in 2023 which once again cemented his status as the King of Indian Cinema. He made one of the biggest comebacks in the history of World Cinema. But now what’s next for him now?

    There is no major release of Shahrukh Khan as of now. According to the reports, the actor will soon start shooting for a film titled King. King is an big entertainer film that marks the debut of Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan. The film is directed by Sujoy Dosh and produced by Shahrukh Khan and Sidharth Anand. Shahrukh Khan plays a extensive special appearance in the film.

J became the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023 and the second-highest-grossing Tamil film of all time. It’s obvious people love to see Rajnikanth doing stunts even at the age of 73. While there is no confirmation of Rajnikanth doing Atlee’s next with Salman Khan, he is confirmed to star in J 2.

    Atlee directed Shahrukh Khan’s 2023 blockbuster Jawan

    Post the outstanding success of Jawan, Atlee is the most demanded director in India. Post the success of Jawan, in an interview he desired his wish to work with Salman, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Ranveer Singh after Shahrukh Khan in Jawan. Atlee had also locked a script and film with Allu Arjun but according to the reports, the film is shelved. He will now work with Salman Khan on a high-budget film. The young director started his career as an assistant director to S. Shankar in the film Enthiran (2010). He made his directional debut with a film titled Raja Rani which was a decent success at the box office. Atlee tasted mammoth success after directing superstar Vijay in movies such as Their (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019).

    In 2019 during an IPL cricket match between CSK and KKR in Chennai, Atlee met Shahrukh Khan. Both attended the match as Atlee is a CSK fan and Shahrukh Khan is the owner of the KKR team. During their meeting, Atlee expressed his desire to work with Shahrukh Khan and he narrated the Jawan script to him in 2020.

    Jawan was released in 2023 to positive reviews and was the most popular film of the year. The popularity resulted in a strong opening day at the box office. But it was the story, script, performance by Shahrukh Khan, and Atlee’s direction that Jawan registered and broke several box office records by the end of its theatrical run. Jawan collected over 550 crores in India and grossed over 1000 crores at the worldwide box office. Post Jawan, Atlee is producing a film titled ‘Baby John’. Baby John stars Varun Dhawan in the lead and it is an official remake of Atlee’s 2016 release Theri with Vijay.

    It is confirmed that Atlee and Salman Khan are working together. However, there is no confirmation of the star cast the film title, or the film release date. According to the reports, Atlee will soon narrate the script to Salman Khan and a big superstar of the South, according to the reports it’s Rajinikanth or Fahadh Faasil.

    For now, Salman Khan is shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s next titled Sikander. The film is produced by another popular director of south cinema Mr. A. R Murugadoss who directed Aamir Khan in Ghajini. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Sikander is said to be the most ambitious film of Salman Khan. The actor is set to portray a larger-than-life role and it is going to be a different kind of experience for his fans. Salman Khan’s last few releases such as Radhe, Dabangg 3, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan have disappointed his fans. His fans are requesting him to stop doing small mediocre films and do event films with big filmmakers of the country.
